One of the few natural instances of the heart symbol occurring in an act so closely related to our interpretation of the shape. That sentence probably doesn’t make sense, but y’all understand, right?
When googling I also found this tidbit on the heart symbol’s wikipedia page: “The heart symbol could also be derived from the shape made by swans’ necks in a courting ritual, which resembles the heart shape.”
